Located less than 5 minutes’ walk from Palacio de Iturbide Museum and Torre Latino, Hotel Histórico Central offers Colonial-style architecture and free WiFi connection in all areas. I stayed three nights and the staff were wonderful the whole time. Always friendly, smiling and ready to help. I had a double room (with 2 queen beds), which was spacious enough and super comfortable (and stylish). I didn't use the AC, but I appreciated having the option to switch it on and off if I needed to. The bed was comfortable - with extra pillows and lovely crisp sheets. I also loved the free snacks and drinks from the cafe, bottles of water readily available and trays of apples on every floor. I was a bit skeptical of the walking tour, but It was great! Really enjoyable and I learnt so much about Mexico City. The guide covered the history, places to eat and places to shop. As for the location - this was my first time in Mexico city, so I cant compare with ay other parts of the city but it felt really central and convenient with loads of cafes, convenience stores and shops within easy walking distance. It also felt very safe although I didn't venture out late in the evenings. Overall can't fault this hotel - loved every part of it.

Spændende, livlig by
Eftersom jeg var på forretningsrejse, blev det kun til korte rundture i bil. Fra mit hotel kunne jeg gå en tur i mit kvarter i dagtimerne. Masser af liv i gaderne og folk er venlige. Jeg kan anbefale frokost på Hotel Mexico City, på terrassen, hvor der er en skøn udsigt over det indre centrum. Udmærket mad. Lidt dyrere end andre steder, men ikke alt for dyrt.

You have to see the Zocalo square in midtown Mexico city...
You have to see the Zocalo square in midtown Mexico city & the sinking church...in the Square there are several restaurants. one of the restaurants is on the top of Building , you walk through a bookshop & take the elevator up, where the view is fantastic. The metro in FD, as the locals calls Mexico City, is good, it's more silent than any other metro in the World that I know. A "must see" is Frida Kahlo's museum. Take the Metro to Coyocan metro station, there you take a red bus ASK the busdrivers they are use to tourists! IF you're by car take the Avenida Churubusco to Centenario & then calle Londres. Close to frida Kahlo is Casa de Leon Trotski Museo! Mexico city is HUGE therefore its important that you know from start that there are a heavy traffic.

Vi havde tre overnatninger på Casa Decu og der er ingen tvivl om at vi vil vælge dette sted igen, hvis vi kommer tilbage til Mexico City. Alt var som det skulle være. Loved the location of this hotel. We stayed for two nights, coffee shops nearby. Not too far from the airport and so easy to get an Uber. Lots of places within walking distance, cafes, bars and restaurants. Used the gym a couple of times too, really well equipped. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

A super experience! We booked a clubroom. The main advantage is: you don't have to hve breakfast in a windowless room in the basement, but in airy rooms in fifth floor, where Jesus (the waiter) is taking good care of you. Superb service!!! The pool area is very pleasant. The gym really has a good size and good equipment. A very good location and a retreat in a bustling city. We already booked again!

Flot værelse med lækre faciliteter. Gode senge og god daglig rengøring. Morgenmaden var god og tjeneren Felix var meget hjælpsom og utrolig venlig. Hotellet var gode til at hjælpe med at booke taxa og ture, hvilket var meget trygt. Opvarmet pool var et kæmpe hit hos børnene. Vi rejste 2 voksne og 3 børn i alderen 5-10 år og følte os meget trygge.

Perfect location for a 5:30 am kayak excursion in the chinampas of Xochimilco. It's a 15 minute walk to Cuemanco embarcadero. The room was big and comfortable. Very quiet and nice helpful staff. As some customers already pointed out it doubles as a "love hotel" and maybe not suitable for families. But it's perfect for solo travelers or a couple, obviously!

Awesome! A bit far about 30 mins. from the Zocalo of CDMX but super cool. They have jacuzzi suites available too and the restaurant is super affordable. I love working out and getting a jog in at the park next door. Walmart is within walking distance too!
