The property is very beautiful and updated. We had a harbor front room that was large with the nicest bathroom I’ve ever seen in a hotel room. The hotel is located right on the harbor between two beaches, one of which is a giant park where you can swim, surf, watch surfers, etc. Their pool was very nice with a few cabanas over looks the harbor and you see the great views mentioned above.

FAQs about hotels in Honolulu

A True Water Sports Paradise

Standing proudly on the island of Oahu in the Pacific Ocean, Honolulu is the Hawaiian capital, meaning "a sheltered bay." Spreading along the white sandy beaches and supported by the strong back of the volcanic mountains, it's a real island paradise.

Honolulu's most popular and famous district, Waikiki, features the stunning Waikiki Beach decorated with hundreds of surfboards, palms and lounge chairs. It’s also a center for the city’s nightlife and shopping, especially along Kalakaua and Kuhio Avenues.

As the most popular activities in Honolulu include surfing, snorkeling, canoeing and other water sports, it's no surprise the city has a number of sandy beaches. Try Hanauma Bay, a crescent-shaped beach with rolling, green hills behind it.

For fans of hiking and exploring, nature awaits at Diamond Head Mountain, a volcanic tuff cone where you can admire the panoramic view of the city. There is also the Bishop Museum with the world’s largest collection of Hawaiian and Pacific artifacts and the Waikiki Aquarium with over 490 species of marine fauna and flora.

From hotels near Honolulu International Airport to hotels near the beach, Booking.com has plenty of properties, from cheap to luxury, for your Honolulu trip.

Waikiki is a beautiful place but little high prices, good weather in May from 70-82F. ocean water cool for swimming several hours. This is my 4 time in Waikiki, my suggestion is 5 days in Honolulu is good enough for tours, walk, and swimming. Kan Sushi all you can eat lunch 28 diner 38 are good to try. Marugame Udon is less busy around 10am to 11am. Malasada is good to try Island Advantage Shave Ice is the best. At Kona Coffee Purveyors try Kona affogato or cortado coffee. Try to go Costco to buy local gift if you can to save a of money. and some of good to eat place like Nico Pier 38, Legend Chinese restaurant, Asia Mall

Honolulu is a place you can make as busy or as relaxing as you want. Ample food options, beautiful beaches and incredible sunsets to ensure with friends and family. Shopping and discovering both the history and the culture of the area make for a well-rounded destination no matter your interests. Worth while exploring the island too if you have the chance. There are plenty of day tours available that take in some incredible sites up the east coast of the island and around the north shore. Definitely a destination that you can return to time and time again.

Honolulu is a big-ish city, it has a big mall, lots of tall buildings, government buildings, homeless people, etc... If you are looking for a slower more relaxed vacation with fewer people and buildings, look at the other islands, or at least don't stay in Honolulu/Waikiki. On the other hand, there are a lot of great little food places and more than their fair share of brew pubs.

Excellent airport location, room price included breakfast and shuttle to the airport. It was expensive in relation to NZ prices but was in the lower price bracket for hotels close to the Honolulu airport. You are able to use the No 20 airport bus which goes from Waikiki out to the airport. There is a bus stop adjacent to the hotel with light controlled pedestrian crossing. After checking in we went to Pearl Ridge shopping centre getting a bus outside the hotel there and back.

    - It is really in the middle of Honolulu, 300 m from the beautiful Waikiki beach. There are plenty of Plazas and shopping - if you are keen for it. - The room has every necessary furniture, a kitchen and quite spacious. - You can borrow some extra stuff for the beach till you stay there. - There is a luagge storage, so you might arrive earlier and depart later. - Hawaii is in every way very expensive. Very. So for an "at all affordable option" this hotel is okay.

If you want a cheap and cheerful party atmosphere look no farther. With some of the main party bars close by and one of the designated hotels for Armed Services coming on and off base you will not be bored. The best thing is the refillable water bottle complimentary in your room with a filtered water machine in the very nice gym and one in the lobby. There is one microwave on the property on the lounge level. Small Bar fridge in room was a lifesaver.

Even before I arrived, Anthony was extremely helpful! He arranged for a pick up and drop off at the airport, gave me a list of recommendations to eat at around Waikiki and Ala Moana, and checked in on me throughout the day to make sure I was enjoying my stay. The hotel room was cool and clean, and is in a very convenient location (only about a 5-10 minute walk from the beach at Hilton Hawaiian Village). I highly recommend!
