Lovely old village, despite the occasional bus loads of tourists pouring in. Sunrise and sunset are spectacular and there are several public terraces where people congregate to watch and socialize. Great cafes to hang out at, but you have to look hard for good food. Getting around on foot is easy, but it’s recommended to hire a taxi to take you around the various Carthage sites.

Sidi Bou Said, Tunisia, was an amazing place to stay.
Sidi Bou Said, Tunisia, was an amazing place to stay. The town's vibrant blue and white architecture, delicious food, and friendly people made it a truly memorable experience. I also enjoyed seeing the many street cats that were a part of the town's charm.

A beautiful little town, full of local charm, everything you need is within walking distance, cheap public transport. Its an extremely safe and hospitable place with very friendly people. My partner could walk around at night, enjoying the warm nights (in december),feeling safe while, she enjoyed feeding the beautiful cats that roam the streets. We both work from home, so it was important to have a good quality internet, and the WiFi was of great quality and very reliable.

This is a moment in time that grows better and better: a retreat from a 100 years ago for artists and intellectuals and Tunisians who prize the mountain top view of the bay and the city below, the white and blue houses, and the quiet. It has its own rewards and none of the rush or noise found in similar such places. It's a gem that has yet to be ruined.
It is a villa so we had no breakfast. The location is great if central Sidi Bou Saed is your focus. The villa has 4 bedrooms with more space available for kids to sleep. The sqaure footage is big enough for a group. All the amennities are there that you would look for in a whole house. The rooftop view is fantastic for sunrises and sunsets. It is a classic French design found all over Sidi Bou Saed. Many restaurants and great views are very close walking distance from the villa.
If you want a carefree stay in the heart of Sidi Bou Said, this is the place to be! The beautiful house is located in a quiet area, yet with everything nearby such as supermarket, pharmacy, station, nice restaurants, etc.. In short, everything you need! Super friendly host who will also help you at any time! It was a short stay in the city for me, but if I am visiting this lovely city again, it would definitely be here!
best view in all of Sidi Bou Said - have your breakfast on the terrace garden (lovely garden), authentic decor, lovely staff Maryam, Ons and the gentleman (cant remember his name). Went out of their way to look after our every need. The Suite was lovely, the pool area secluded and quiet. A very memorable experience and will refer this hotel to all my friends and relatives. Superb location in centre of Sidi Bou Said
A characterful and well set up apartment. Hosts are very friendly and helpful - the apartment is next to their house in a separate building - the hosts are available when you need them whilst leaving you alone to enjoy the apartment - perfect!
Location is great - a quiet residential road, close to the train station, and a short walk from all the cafes, etc of Sidi Bou Said
Maison Dedine is unique in the sense that there are only 5 rooms. It makes you feel at home. There are different lovely spaces around the rooms with an incredible view of the sea. The infinity pool is gorgeous. The breakfast is iconic. There is special atmosphere in this exclusive welcoming home in Sidi Bou Said. No other place can beat Maison Dedine!
The space was huge for 1 person. It had 2 bathrooms a full kitchen, living room, and a washer. There was also a shared outdoor space. The hot water worked very well. The place was sparkling clean. There were restaurants and a market a short walk away. Host stayed a few doors down as well so if any issues arise he is there to help 10/10 stay!
My wife and I had a lovely stay at la Menara.
We experienced the warmest of welcome Tunisia is so famous for.
Overlooking the Tunis bay in the scenic Sidi Bou Said town.
Beautifully decorated rooms, spa and very professional staff who made our stay so enjoyable.
A truly lovely place that I will come back to on my next trip to Tunis.
The beauty of this place is incredible! It’s a relaxing garden in the centre of Sidi Bou Said with so much history and culture that could be a museum. The view is spectacular. If this place was in Italy it would cost a fortune!!
The place is beautiful, our bedroom was nicely decorated, giving a cozy and traditional atmosphere.
We loved the kindness of the staff, the breakfast in the patio enjoying the sun and the perfect location of the hotel.
Friendly staff, they made our stay special
Beautiful views and very beautiful garden
Good choices of food
Definitely the best location to stay in Sidi Bou Said
Arhitecture is amazing
Big, spacious rooms
One of the most beautiful places to stay in. Well-preserved, stylish, with a local atmospheric aura. The staff is very helpful and kind. A pleasant walk from the heart of Sidi Bou Said.
Fantastic location, in a quiet area in Sidi Bou Said but still close to everything. Beautiful hotel with a nice view from the terrace and great breakfast
