Only 2 hrs drive from Berlin this old City is worth the side trip. Flixbus offers several shuttle rides a day from Berlin so easy to get to or fly to Szczecin Goleniow airport. Very green, walkable city with nice historical sites, including Pomeranian Castle by the river. City Center radiates out over several directions each offering easy walks, coffee shops with yummy deserts along the way. Plenty of pubs and restaurants with creative and fresh tasting meals. Very safe to walk around, even for a single female in the evening. Great public transportation or easy to get affordable taxi, Bolt or Uber.

Beautiful place. We enjoyed our stay. There is a shuttle for airport called follow me which you book online which the host gave us the information and was exceptionally helpful about everything. If you end up getting a cab it should be around 200 pln. But the transfer is around 12 gbp for 2 and very efficient

I return to Szczecin time to time so I see how much the city develops. Besides the traditional restaurants and little craft shops ( there is even a hat maker!) I found many new hipster places. Plenty of transport options and a large selection of restaurants and cafes. The cathedral is beautiful and there is a lot of interesting local architecture. I recommend Wyszak, a brewery/restaurant in the basement of the old town hall. Good beer,food and service.easy1273United Kingdom

The host, Mr Dariusz was so nice and understanding as we arrived after 2am he waited for us to let us in, he also helped us with the parking and information about Szczecin. In terms of the apartment we particularly loved the external shutters that allowed us to sleep in the morning without a sign of sunlight going through them. The apartment is in walking distance to many beautiful restaurants open till very late. We will definitely be back .

Heating worked well too. This hotel is 10min walk to Galeria Kaskada. There is a mini shopping mall close by that has cinema too! Plenty of local bakeries nearby as well as cafes. There is a lift in the building. Overall a very pleasant stay.
