Staff is very friendly, cutrtious and spoke very good English. The facility is very clean and the rooms are very comfortable. We especially like the breakfast buffet. It is much better than most hotels. Large selection of menus, both American and Korean. This is our second time staying here and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

The staff (front desk and housekeeping) were all great. The location is a working neighborhood so it gets pretty busy around lunchtime and the end of the workday. There aren’t a lot of touristy things to do that are close by. Deoksugung Palace is within walking distance and Myeongdong is two train stops away. There are a lot of restaurants in the area because it is very close to city hall. The area is quiet. If you are traveling by taxi, some may have difficulty finding the hotel but most don’t. They do have valet if needed. The cafe was closed during our stay. The pool and gym were available for use. The room was small for 3 people and 3 beds but we made it work. We had to live out of our suitcases for the trip because there wasn’t any storage space but that wasn’t a deal breaker.

GLAD Gangnam COEX Center, hotel in Seoul

GLAD Gangnam COEX Center is located next to Exit 1 of Samseong Subway Station (Line 2) and houses a fitness center, lounge and front desk open around the clock.

Modern, very clean rooms with comfortable beds. Loved that the bathroom had a good shower instead of a bathtub & had enough space to move about in. Housekeeping did a good job of keeping the room fresh & clean everyday. Hotel is located near COEX & is just a few steps away from Samseong Station (Line 2) which made it convenient to access other parts of Seoul. Hotel provided a top quality area map of Seoul indicating tourist sites & complete illustration of subway/ metro lines.

Fabulous city - great food choices, shopping, art, ancient temples and palaces are so beautiful. Great shopping, fabulous convenience stores, many fun activities such as photo booths, games cafes, cafe culture, the list could go on. There are many neighbourhoods to explore. Seoul is also a late night city and felt very safe as a solo female traveller. Travel is very easy and reasonable (buy a T money card) on metro/trains and plenty of trains to travel all over Korea even at short notice.

Fantastic city! I would highly recommend Ikseon old village, walk along the Seoul city wall, Insadong, nice cafés in the Hanok village, Seoungsu neighbourhood, DMT tour, visit to Suwon and walk by the Hwaseoung Fortress, Michelin recommended restaurants! A running tour by the Cheonggyecheon. is highly recommended.

A 8 days in seoul is nice.

A 8 days in seoul is nice. Personally I like Myeong-dong area for shopping and eating. If you have time go to Nami Island. For everland, I just find it a little hilly and big and a bit far. I still prefer Lotte world where there is aircon. Other places are good to walk and run around such as city hall to see palaces. Han river walk is pretty good for me too. Going in End May weather is pretty good - can wear shorts. Namshan I ran there from my place of stay at seoul station. Not that far. Nice cool walk up there. Cafe pokpo is quite good. Take a cab there. Suwon Starfield - not fantastic. Lastly their bread is ok in pricing comparable price with breadtalk. What I do miss is my Yakun in Singapore. Normal Cabs are not expensive. Public train is pretty reliable and very affordable.

    Seoul really exceeded my expectations.

Seoul really exceeded my expectations. The mixture of old (or at least made to look old!) and new is really interesting. The food is great, even for a mostly vegan eater like me. It feels dafe. It's easy to get around. It can be relatively inexpensive and still comfortable. And for some I guess the shopping and skincare industries would be a big draw.

Perfect place to stay if you're visiting Seoul, the room was a good size, comfortable and even had a bath. the staff couldn't be more helpful. It's situated 5 minutes walk to myeongdong shopping streets, it was very easy to go around the city from the hotel. We liked this place so much, that we ended up canceling another place we had in the city to stay here. They even offer a cheap hold luggage service, which allowed us to travel light when going to other town. Would definitely stay here again.

My third time staying at Pacific Hotel, and it remains my go-to hotel in Seoul! It's conveniently located in front of Myeongdong station, yet away from the hustle and bustle of Myeongdong night market across the street. A no-frills, comfortable stay; the staff is also very friendly and accommodating. I left my massive luggage with them for about a week while I was travelling around Korea before checking back into Pacific Hotel, and they managed that without any issues. Highly recommended!

The staff were really nice and the hotel lobby was gorgeous. All the staff I interacted with spoke English to me even though I was prepared to speak in Korean. I also really loved that the key cards were a cute wooden card design. Also, the hotel having an airport bus was really convenient for arriving and departing. There; 's also a Popeyes right across the street less than a minute walk away. I also really liked the bath exfoliator they gave in the shower instead of wash cloths.

Le Mong was in a great location and easy to find. The staff was friendly and informative during check-in but was difficult to communicate with in advance of arrival (due to both operating hours and language barriers). The rooms were a good size compared to several other hotels in South Korea I also stayed in during my trip. The rooms were clean and towels were refreshed every day. Breakfast was good - not a wide variety of options but enough to find something for almost anyone!

Step Inn is great if you're looking for a cheap place to stay in the center of Seoul. It's located in a bustling shopping district, is close to the subway station, and has all the basic amenities. It's more of a hostel than a hotel (though it does have private rooms!) so just be aware if you're looking for one or the other. My room was clean and serviceable, the hotel staff were friendly, and I was able to book an airport taxi through the front desk without a problem.

The best breakfast I had at a Korean hotel. Ask for an omelette or a fried egg :) A variety of foods from local and western cuisines. The location is wonderful, we did a bit of night shopping at the Myeongdong shopping area for skincare and teen streetwear. There is a bus stop and a metro very nearby. Good breakfast, cozy room, close to the exhibition center. Turn right out of the hotel to eat is more expensive, turn left and walk 100 meters to eat is cheaper. Turn left out of the hotel and walk about 150 meters, there is a local Korean supermarket. Take the airport bus 6703, get off at the POSCO building station and walk to the hotel.

Local and authentic Korean eateries are just a few steps away from the hotel and the property is quiet because it's away from busy Myeongdong but not too far away that it's easy to walk to Myeongdong markets. Very clean as is typical for a Korean hotel. Good location near subway, a 12 min walk to the Myeongdong shopping area.
